lyrics: remember forgiveness

Remember forgiveness?

Now, if there is a God, would God be ashamed. would God agonize. & would God find something to blame?
Or. if there could be a God, could God be ashamed, could God agonize, & could God find something to blame?

I told her “no flipping way, and isn’t it a complete waste of time to even ask?”
She smiled and said, “hey, let’s make a complete list of all the ways we can waste time… real fast.”

I said “Well, once did I agonize about who else to blame…
and ever since then I’ve been so ashamed of that one time my spiritual pride just lapsed.”

“Alright,” she said, “so you’ve wasted lots of your mind…. naming other ways you’ve been wasting God’s life.”
So then, “yes” could be your answer, if God just remembers not to forget forgiveness
See God may have no one else to blame now and no one else to bless
when “yes” could be your answer, if God just remembers not to forget acceptance.”

Now,  if God could be you, could God always have faith… that grace is already present & could God find someone to bless and
if you could be God, could you always have faith… that grace is already present, & could you find someone to bless

Now, if there is a God, would God be ashamed. would God agonize. & would God find something to blame?
Or. if there could be a God, could God be ashamed, could God agonize, & could God find something to blame?

See God may have no one else to blame now and no one else to bless
when “yes” could be God’s answer, if you just remember to forgive acceptance.”
Now,  if God could be you, could God always have faith… that grace is already present & could God find someone to bless and
if you could be God, could you always have faith… that grace is already present, & could you find someone to bless

😉 God said I know nothing, hear nothing, see nothing!! (that’s on the blame issue) I said Yes! (that’s on the grace issue. 😉
