I tried to find the words to speak my mind       what if the mind is just a stream of words

I call it mine and it calls itself me                      It said if it’s not mine than who am I

God knows I tried        to stop God’s mind        but it’s like it has a life        of it’s own

Set me free from all that has me trapped          I’m trapped inside three words: “set me free”

Help me know the way to find out how              show me how to become whom I am

God searched the world for what should never be   for chaos, evil, injustice, and shame

but God finds blessing everywhere God seeks    so God found order everywhere God came

where is the chaos some claim to have found   or is it their ignorance making sounds

for one day’s mystery is a new day’s science    a deaf man claims that every sound is silence
