I used to want to change              to solve all of my problems

to keep some things the same     to control my fate

well, that took a lot of time          that took a lot of life

to try to escape hell                        and earn my way to heaven

but I can’t worry now                  I’m not sure what happened

maybe I just forgot how              to figure out what to figure out
